WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!

Students are fully enjoying the swimming time in the pool!
This is the last newsletter from us this term. I hope we have shared some interesting times and experiences together. We will definitely share more during the year as it unfolds!
We will come to the end of this term next Friday 8 April with a blast. It is the tradition of the school that we end our school term with a concert where the teachers and children/students showcase what they have learned together. They share this experience with their parents and guardians. I can assure you that you will have fun and perhaps you may even learn a thing or two!

11. PLAYSCHOOL Class – Ms Matui:
The Playschoolers are all well and good. We have completed our topics and the children are practicing and preparing for their term concert. They have been practicing very hard to put on a good show for their lovely parents. Please continue to help them practice their scripts at home.
Their portfolios will be ready for taking home on Thursday. The children’s assessments and report cards are done but will not be handed out. *Any parent wishing to discuss anything for your child, please make an appointment with the front desk for the holiday break.
Concert costumes:
- Blue T-shirt round neck
- Black shorts boys/Black leggings for girls
These costumes will be worn on concert day next Friday 8th April. *PLEASE LET CHILDREN COME ON THIS DAY IN FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM BUT KINDLY PACK THEIR COSTUMES/CHANGE OF CLOTHES IN A BAG. THANKS!
Please bring the costumes this week by Friday 1st April 2022.
Some little stories about your little ones. The children have all settled in well, with just a few still trying like Lester and Nelson – both came crying in the morning but after that both have settled in fine. Jason, Roman, Tyler, and Princeton have settled in school. The other day Princeton did not want to go home with his mum because he had so much fun with his friends in school. Maurice has become a good boy in school and his favourite song every morning is “Good Morning Mr. Sun.” Theissen, Micaiah and Tyler are our energetic boys in class. Our humble boys Talon and Benjamin are always listening to the Teacher.
The playschool girls are doing well. Christine is one of the big girls in class and leads her friends in singing and saying Poems. Arcenciel has become one of the outspoken ones in the class and Hennelle with Renette love their favorite song “Daddy’s finger.” Our shy girl in class Kimni trying her best to speak up. These are some short stories of the Playschoolers. I hope this puts a smile on your face.
Thank you!

The pool is a lovely inviting shade of blue and a favourite with the children!
15. Library Corner – Ms Rutera:
Firstly, thank you to those parents who brought your child’s library bag! Home reading is vital and it is my concern as the library teacher that every child must have a chance to borrow books to read at home or at school.
Please always do write a comment about your child’s progress so that I will know and assist them in whichever areas they need help. Home Reading is about helping your child.
Thank you.
Ms Rutera – Library Teacher

Mrs Tione – Registrar
I hope you have taken the time to read the contents of this letter because there are some very important expectations or requests the teachers have made of you as parents/guardians for the CONCERT next Friday 8 April at 10am sharp! Please do not be late.
Due to the Covid-19 Protocol Rules, we will only be inviting 1 parent to attend. No little children please as we will be recording the event. I am sure you will be yourselves! It is a time to give attention to your children to witness their head start. This will help you to assess their progress as the year unravels. I look forward to meeting with those coming to attend and thank you for your understanding and support.
Peace and Trust,
